Drew M. Brown
Chairman of the Board
Drew Brown is Chairman of DMB Associates and one of the founding partners. For more than 28 years, Mr. Brown has led the strategic direction of the Company and its portfolio of communities and businesses. Prior to co-founding DMB, Mr. Brown was a partner and director in the Phoenix law firm of Fennemore Craig, where he specialized in real estate and commercial lending matters. Mr. Brown has been active in a number of professional, civic and community organizations.
David L. Bruner
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Bruner is Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for strategic management and oversight of the Company’s Arizona and California activities including project entitlement, community and commercial development, community life, country club operations, sales and leasing, and corporate support functions. For more than three decades, Mr. Bruner has been active in real estate investment and development and has participated in early stage development/venture capital funding opportunities including some of the Valley’s most recognized commercial properties.
Andrew S. Beams
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Andy Beams oversees accounting, finance, treasury and related reporting functions for DMB Associates. As the CFO, he participates in mid and long-term capital planning and strategic business plan development and has participated in the underwriting, operating agreement and business plan development for substantially all of the projects in DMB’s portfolio.
Karrin Kunasek Taylor
Executive Vice President & Chief Entitlements Officer
Karrin Taylor is responsible for ongoing land use entitlement matters and other value enhancing efforts for DMB communities and businesses. Ms. Taylor also provides oversight for the Company’s government and political affairs efforts and economic development activities at the local, state and federal level. Ms. Taylor has been a member of DMB's entitlements team for more than 15 years and has been responsible for the successful entitlement of many of the Company’s projects including Verrado, Marley Park, Centerpoint, One Scottsdale, DC Ranch and Mesa Proving Grounds.
Mary S. Alexander, Esq.
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Mary Alexander’s background in real estate includes extensive planned community development and public homebuilder experience. Her responsibilities have included land acquisition and entitlement, infrastructure planning and finance, public lands transactions, community governance structuring and documentation, sales contracting and regulatory approvals, employment matters, construction contracting and warranty enforcement. In her current position, Ms. Alexander supervises legal work for all DMB communities, in addition to overseeing the Company’s risk management and insurance programs. Ms. Alexander's other areas of focus include litigation management and entity governance issues.
