Country Artist Collin Raye to Headline Benefit Concert
Matthew's Day on Market Street Supports Phoenix Children's Hospital

Matthew's Day on Market Street, a festive family celebration and country music concert benefiting Phoenix Children's Hospital (PCH), is coming to Market Street at DC Ranch Sunday, April 10, 2005, from 3-8 p.m.

Matthew's Day is a celebration of the young life of Matthew Lilien, who lost his battle with pediatric neuroblastoma cancer. The Lilien family resides in DC Ranch and is the inspiration for the event. Market Street merchants and DC Ranch are organizing and presenting the event with the goals of raising funds for the Oncology and Blood Disease Department of PCH and raising awareness of pediatric neuroblastoma.

The highlight of Matthew's Day will be a concert in Market Street Park featuring country artists Collin Raye, Jeff Carson, Chalee Tennison and Rickiejoleen. Raye is an award-winning vocalist who has achieved five platinum records and more than 20 Top 10 singles, including "Little Rock," "I Can Still Feel You" and "Love, Me." Carson is known for hits including "Butterfly Kisses" and the inspirational "I Can Only Imagine," and singer/songwriter Tennison was nominated for an Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Female Vocalist in 2000. Rickiejoleen is an up-and-coming country singer/guitarist from Arizona.

Matthew's Day will also feature live and silent auctions, and a children's carnival complete with rides, a petting zoo, face painting, a climbing wall, fun food and more. Attendees will be able to enjoy a sampling of signature dishes from participating Market Street restaurants. Additionally, children will be able to take part in a runway show organized by The Agency, a Scottsdale-based modeling and talent agency. Participants in the runway show will enjoy a 20 percent discount on all merchandise at Little Angels, a children's boutique on Market Street.

Tickets are $200 per family, which grants access for two adults and two children to the concert, carnival and silent and live auctions. The fee also includes entry for two children in the runway show. The first additional child is $50 and any thereafter are $25 each. Individual tickets are $100 each. Tickets can be purchased at the DC Ranch Welcome Center located on Market Street.
